Project Development Officer

UNIT / PROGRAM: Festivals Division - - Film Cultural Exchange Program (FCEP) and Philippine Embassies Assistance Program (PEAP)   STATUS: Contract of Service (COS)  SALARY: SG 11 (PHP 30,024)


PLACE OF ASSIGNMENT: FDCP Central Office - Makati

RESPONSIBILITY:

  • Manage the Festival Division’s Philippine Embassies Assistance Program (PEAP) and Film Cultural Exchange Program (FCEP);
  • Coordinate the programs’ implementation and application process with Philippine and international embassies;
  • Acknowledge receipt of inquiries and submissions, evaluate and create recommendations on the applications based on existing guidelines, release notices of granted and declined applications, and facilitate the signing of the agreement.
  • Ensure the timely execution of support and provide logistical and technical support for program-related partnerships and activities;
  • Provide guidance and assistance to grantees in the proper utilization of the grant and drafting of reports;
  • Monitor the return of service responsibilities of grantees and release clearances based on completed partnerships and grants;
  • Coordinate with relevant divisions to ensure internal arrangements and divisional support for program-related partnerships and activities.
  • Create and maintain a database to organize information related to the program, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and relevance;
  • Periodically evaluate and create recommendations on the programs based on existing guidelines and practices;
  • Assist the Division in ad hoc responsibilities; and
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned from time to time.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s or Diploma degree relevant to the position.
  • Demonstrated skills in communication, partnership development, creative problem solving, critical thinking, technical writing, and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cultural institutions, embassies, consulates, and other key stakeholders.
  • Experience in developing, managing, and monitoring budgets, including reviewing and implementing grant proposals to ensure compliance and financial accountability.
