BINISAYA: Breaking the walls of Filipino Cinema since 2009

This year’s Binisaya Film Festival is happening online from November 11 to 20, 2021. The festival has been active yearly since its debut in 2011 and they are now on their 11th year. It showcases contemporary films by independent Cebuano filmmakers using the local language and local sensibilities. BINISAYA Film Festival is an authentic local grassroots festival dedicated to the promotion, exhibition, distribution and archiving of contemporary Cebuano and other Bisaya dialect films. Since 2009, it has conducted workshops in different cities and screenings in rooftops, basketball courts, basements, beach, plazas in different barrios in the Philippines.

The festival will be screening at KTX  and Archipelago OnDemand.
