WHAT WE DO:

Pursuant to its mandate, the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) supports the growth and empowerment of the Philippine film industry and the production of quality films through programs on the following: 

  • Talent and Project Development Support 
  • Production Support
  • Local and International Distribution 
  • Exhibition Support 
  • Film Incentives
  • Diplomatic Relations 
  • Film Workers Support 
  • Film Archiving

FDCP also represents Philipine Cinema internationally as it leads the country’s participation in domestic and foreign film markets and local and international film festivals to promote and position Philippine cinema to be globally competitive.

THE FDCP DOES NOT:

  • Provide funding for unsolicited film scripts or projects outside of its funding programs. Applications for these must be lodged at the appropriate program during its application cycles. 

  • Provide funding to non-Filipino production companies. For its FilmPhilippines Incentive Programs, foreign production companies must be officially attached to Filipino companies who apply for Funds.
