MANILA, PHILIPPINES, OCTOBER 8, 2021 (UPDATED) — The forged partnership between the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) with Commission on Higher Education (CHED) and its attached agency, the Unified Student Financial Assistance System for Tertiary Education (UniFAST), is holding a Call for Entries to the recently launched film project for beneficiaries of the Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Act or Republic Act 10931.

MANILA, PHILIPPINES, OCTOBER 7, 2021 — Capping off the momentous celebration commemorating the invaluable contribution of the stakeholders to the film industry, the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) officially closed the 1st Philippine Film Industry Month last September 30 streamed in agency’s official online pages and FDCP Channel.

MANILA, PHILIPPINES, OCTOBER 2, 2021 — A total of 46 Safety Advocates have successfully undergone the fourth Safety and Health Officers Training Seminar (SHOTS) organized by the Safe Filming Program of the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) in partnership with the Department of Labor and Employment-Occupational Safety and Health Center (DOLE-OSHC). 

“FDCP Channel 100” aims to serve as an easy-to-use streaming platform through a thematic curation of films and audiovisual content according to various educational topics. For a monthly subscription of only PHP 99, students, film enthusiasts, and filmmakers will be able to access hard-to-find local films on the FDCP Channel.

MANILA, PHILIPPINES, SEPTEMBER 16, 2021 — The much awaited annual flagship program of the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP), the Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino (PPP) puts the spotlight on short films this year as it kicks off its fifth edition with free screenings from the 25 finalists from Sine Kabataan Short Film Competition and Sine Isla: LuzViMinda Short Film Competition on September 17 to 26 on the FDCP Channel.
