FDCP National Registry Hosts Legal Aid Clinic for Film Workers

 

The Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP), through its National Registry for Film Workers will conduct a two-day legal aid clinic on December 5 to 6, 2018 (Wednesday to Thursday) from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Cinematheque Centre Manila.

 This event offers social services consultation and orientation to active film workers, including actors, directors, technical workers, producers, production staff, and creatives and artistic team to address their concerns regarding their work and employment. The event is open for walk-in applicants and for the film workers who wish to register. 

 During the Legal Aid Clinic, attendees will have all-day access to free legal orientation and consultation, and to the booths of the Social Security System (SSS), Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth), and Pag-IBIG Fund for on-site application and guidance about their services and benefits.

 The National Registry is maintained by FDCP to aid film workers in accessing social services, workshops, basic legal assistance, and work opportunities.
