Bringing together Filipinos abroad through film screenings

In partnership with the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) and Office of Public and Cultural Diplomacy (OPCD), the FDCP has created the PEAP to encourage Philippine Embassies and Consulates to organize film-related cultural activities for Filipinos based abroad to let them discover and appreciate Philippine Cinema even outside their home country.

FDCP’s PEAP offers thematic curation of films, coordination with filmmakers and producers, assistance in subtitling fees, and support for Philippine Cinema lectures and conferences.

Since its inception, more than 30 Philippine Embassies and Consulates have mounted PEAP-supported events such as the  Philippine Film Festivals in Italy, Portugal, and Singapore.
