To commemorate the 70 years of India-Philippines diplomatic relations, the Embassy of India, Manila, in partnership with Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) and Red Carpet Cinema, Shangri-la Plaza, organized a press screening of “Mabuhay Bollywood”, an Indian Film Festival, last August 13, 2019 at the Premiere Theatre, Level 6, Red Carpet, Shangri-la Plaza.

Ambassador of India Mr. Jaideep Mazumdar addressed the media fraternity, and a teaser of the movies being shown was screened. “Mary Kom,” a chronicle of the life of the Indian boxer who won golds in seven World Boxing Championships, was screened.

The event saw participation by FDCP and representatives from various media, both print and digital.

The film festival will run from August 22 to 25, 2019 at Cinema 4, Red Carpet, Shangri-la Plaza with free admission. Details of the movies being shown are at website and Facebook.
