MANILA, PHILIPPINES, FEBRUARY 26, 2022 – The Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP), in anticipation of the 6th Film Ambassadors’ Night, gathered friends from the press last February 22, 2022 in Quezon City. 

All roads lead to Berlin, Germany, during this time of the year. After all, the Berlin International Film Festival — or the Berlinale — is among the three of the biggest, most prestigious, most attended film festivals on the planet.

We've seen each other through everything. When you were sad or bothered, you came to me. My stories to keep your mind off things and there was nothing that us and popcorn couldn't cure. I loved it more though when you celebrated with me — your wins, your birthdays, even Christmas. I spent it with you and your friends and family. Whether it was to laugh, or cry, even scream sometimes, we did it together.

The Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) announces the recipients of the special awards given by the Agency—the Camera Obscura Artistic Excellence Award and the Gabay ng Industriya Award for the 6th Film Ambassadors’ Night (FAN) to be held this month. 

MANILA, PHILIPPINES, FEBRUARY 18, 2022 — Ten (10) projects have been selected as finalists of the CineIskool Short Film Lab and Festival and will each receive a PHP 125,000 grant (PHP 100,000 for production costs and PHP 25,000 for safe filming protocols) to be used for the production of their respective short films.
