Cine Filipina
“Cine Filipina” is FDCP’s initiative to celebrate National Women’s Month in the form of film screenings, panel discussions, and other activities throughout March on the FDCP Channel online streaming platform. For 2021, with the theme “Juana sa Gitna ng Pagbabago”, 10 women-centric films bannered the lineup, together with 3 free film screenings, 10 short features from Cinemarya, 2 panel discussions, an opening event, and a closing event.

OPENING PROGRAM March 15, 2021 |
USec. Liza Dino-Seguerra opened the festival with a heartwarming message for Juanas who are experiencing hardships in the extraordinary times we are in. The free screening of Lino Brocka’s “White Slavery” followed. |

The premiere of the music video of Bayang Barrios’ women empowerment anthem, “Babae Ka, Malaya” and the free screening of Raymund Ribay Gutierrez’s “Verdict” followed. |
