FDCP, DOLE Open Batch 3 of Free Safety and Health Officers Certification Training for Film, AV Industry Workers

MANILA, PHILIPPINES, JULY 19, 2021 — As a continuation of its efforts to train and upskill industry-specific safety and health officers, the Safe Filming Program of the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP), in partnership with the Department of Labor and Employment-Occupational Safety and Health Center (DOLE-OSHC), is accepting participants for its third batch of the Safety and Health Officers Training Seminar (SHOTS).

MAYNILA, PILIPINAS, HULYO 21, 2021 — Habang patuloy na naghahanap ng pakikipagtulungan ang Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) para masuportahan ang film at entertainment industry sa pamamagitan ng pagpapabakuna ng mga manggagawa nito, inaprubahan ng Lungsod ng Maynila sa pamumuno ni Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso, na isa ring aktor, ang pakikipagtulungan ng FDCP National Registry (NR) at ang programang “Vaccine Nation is the Solution” ng Maynila.

City of Manila to Vaccinate 3,500 FDCP-Registered Film & AV Workers

MANILA, PHILIPPINES, JULY 21, 2021 — As the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) continues to seek out collaborations to support the film and entertainment industry through the vaccination of its workers, the City of Manila through Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso, an actor himself, approved the partnership between the FDCP’s National Registry (NR) and Manila’s “Vaccine Nation is the Solution” program.

Film industry appeals for aid for displaced workers

Over 860,000 film workers are out of jobs because of the pandemic. The Film Development Council appealed to lawmakers to include the live audio-visual content workers in Social Amelioration Program. The FDCP has extended 20 million pesos worth of subsidy to it's members.
