MANILA, PHILIPPINES, SEPTEMBER 24 — In a surprise announcement made on Monday, September 21, the animated feature film “Hayop Ka! The Nimfa Dimaano Story” is set to be the first animated Filipino Netflix film. Directed by Filipino filmmaker Avid Liongoren, the animated romantic comedy “Hayop Ka!” will be available for streaming across Asia beginning October 29.

The thought was a fitting way to start FIC Online 2020: a four-day online conference that brought a diverse group of film industry experts into a single platform in which they shared their ideas, opinions, and expertise about valuable topics relevant to the film industry.
