Congratulations to the Filipino producers selected for this year's edition of the Match Me! program at the 75th Locarno Film Festival.
April Batican of Epicmedia Productions, Sari Dalena of Kino Arts, and Geo Lomuntad of Projects 8 Projects will be participating at the event happening from August 5 to 7 in Switzerland.

Sa pagsisimula ng buwan ng Agosto, pormal nang binuksan ang pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa na may temang "Filipino at mga Katutubong Wika: Kasangkapan sa Pagtuklas at Paglikha" sa pangunguna ng Komisyon sa Wikang Filipino (KWF) kasama ang Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) at National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA).

- FDCP EVENTSInauguration of MOWELFUND Center
The Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) joined the Movie Workers Welfare Foundation, Inc. (MOWELFUND) as the foundation inaugurated its state-of-the-art building in Quezon City last July 28.
The newly-renovated Mowelfund building houses the Dencar Theatre equipped with Dolby Atmos, a high-tech color grading and digipost service, and memorabilia of industry legends such as former president Joseph Estrada and newly conferred national artist, Ms. Nora Aunor.

The Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) once again hosted a workshop for the Ortigas Art Festival, this time on the topic of Storytelling with writer, filmmaker, and teacher Wanggo Gallaga held at Estancia Mall in Pasig on the afternoon of July 24.
We would like to send our heartfelt gratitude to Ortigas Malls for partnering with us and to everyone who joined us in this productive afternoon. See you again this weekend!
- FDCP EVENTSHEALTHY PILIPINAS SHORT FILM FESTIVALThe Film Development Council of the Philippines and the Department of Health (Philippines) (DOH) have partnered to launch the Healthy Pilipinas Short Film Festival (HPSFF) with the aim of promoting a healthier country, happening this June 24, 2022 at Shangri-La Plaza Red Carpet, Ortigas. Online screenings will also follow and will run from June 25 to 26, 2022. The Festival was presented by the FDCP and DOH to the members of the press during a virtual meet-up last June 7, 2022.

The Philippines is participating at the world's largest event dedicated to animation, the Annecy Festival 2022 and its market, the Annecy International Animation Film Market. Leading the country's delegation composed of Filipino animation companies and animators is the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP).

The Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) is celebrating Pride Month this June with PeliKULAYa: International LGBTQIA+ Film Festival in a hybrid format from June 10 to 26.
With the theme “Pantay-Pantay, Iba’t Ibang Kulay!,” this year’s PeliKULAYa aims to champion and empower members of the LGBTQIA+ community, while highlighting stories that delve into the underrepresented members of the LGBTQIA+ community, especially the trans community, through a lineup of film screenings of local and international films, film talks, and special events.

- FDCP EVENTSRTVM Turnover Ceremony of Video Materials to FDCPA total of 18,222 audiovisual materials from the Presidential Broadcast Staff – Radio Television Malacañang or RTVM were formally handed over to the Philippine Film Archive (PFA) of the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) in a ceremony held last Thursday, June 2 at the Cinematheque Centre Manila. The event was attended by the FDCP staff and RTVM management committee, and Research and Archive employees.
