STUDENT FILM ASSISTANCE PROGRAM

The Student Film Assistance Program (SFAP) is a funding program exclusively offered to students who are currently enrolled in AFS-registered colleges and universities and will be producing their thesis film. Successful projects may receive a grant amounting from PHP 30,000.00 to PHP 50,000.00 for the production of a thesis film project.

The Academic Film Society (AFS) is the FDCP-led association of schools, colleges, and universities in the Philippines with existing film programs, film courses, film clubs or related student organizations.

Philippines goes to the 73rd Berlinale
True to its mandate to promote the Filipino film industry in the international film market, the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) will lead the country’s delegation to the Berlinale - Berlin International Film Festival and European Film Market - EFM happening from February 16 to 26 in Germany.

FDCP FilmPhilippines Opens Application for its Incentives Program

MANILA, PHILIPPINES — Launching its new campaign tagline “Tell your Stories in our Islands,” the Film Development Council of the Philippines’ FilmPhilippines Office officially opens the applications for the first cycle of the FilmPhilippines Incentives (FPI) program this 2023. The call is open to foreign production companies in business with a Filipino production company or producer on an ongoing project.
