FDCP Opens Call for Audiovisual Companies for Cannes Film Market
MANILA, PHILIPPINES, APRIL 5, 2022 – The Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) is looking for Filipino audiovisual companies (producer, services, animation, distributors, or agents) to be part of the Philippine delegation at Marché du Film (MDF), the business arm of the Cannes International Film Festival, this coming May 2022 as it returns as an in-person gathering. Delegates supported by the FDCP will be provided a Marche du Film market badge which grants them access to the entirety of Cannes Film Festival program of screenings and exclusive reruns, Marché du Film screenings, Marché du Film online platform, and to the thematic speed meetings throughout the week-long gathering.
A Philippine pavilion will be hosted by the FDCP onsite at the Marché du Film which will be shared with Singapore Film Commission where local film productions of each country will be showcased.
The Agency, with its UniPhilippines and FilmPhilippines programs, aids Filipino filmmakers in participating in leading international networking and distribution opportunities, as well as promoting the country as a filming destination for international productions through incentives and co-production funding.
The FDCP will be accepting applications until April 6, 2022. Successful applicants will be joining them in one of the largest and most productive film markets in the world as Marché du Film brings together around 12, 500 film professionals and an average of 4, 000 film projects coming in from around 121 countries annually. Delegates must be willing to travel to Cannes, France for Marché du Film 2022

Delegates must be fully vaccinated or had a booster shot with any of the EU approved vaccines (Moderna, AstraZeneca, Pfizer, and Janssen)

Delegates must be to comply with necessary COVID-19 travel restrictions
